ក្បាល 4-8 (12) cm in diameter, at first hemispherical with a curved margin, then convex with a lowered, often curved margin, with brownish remnants of the spathe along the margin, slimy, rufous, orange-brownish with a lighter yellowish margin and a dark red-brown middle .
កំណត់ត្រា frequent, adnate with a tooth, first bright purple, then leathery, pale brown. The cobweb cover is white, clearly visible in young mushrooms.
