Now this mushroom is called Mycena កោណ - ស្រឡាញ់, and Mycena alkaline is now called this species – Mycena alcalina.

មួក៖ At first, the mushroom cap has the shape of a hemisphere, then it opens and becomes almost prostrate. At the same time, a conspicuous tubercle remains in the central part of the cap. The cap diameter is only three cm. The surface of the cap has a creamy-brown color, which fades to fawn as the mushroom ripens.

សាច់ក្រក៖ the pulp is thin and brittle, plates are visible along the edges. The pulp has a characteristic alkaline odor.

កំណត់ត្រា: not frequent, adhering to the leg. The plates have a characteristic bluish tint, characteristic of all mushrooms of this genus.

ជើង៖ inside the leg is hollow, at the base it has a yellowish color, in the rest of the cream-brown color, like the cap. At the base of the leg there are outgrowths of mycelium in the form of cobwebs. As a rule, most of the long stem is hidden in the soil, coniferous litter.

ម្សៅ Spore៖ ស។

ភាពងាយស្រួល៖ there is no information about the edibility of the fungus, but most likely alkaline mycena (mycena strobilicola) is not eaten because of the unpleasant chemical smell of the pulp and small size.

ភាពស្រដៀងគ្នា៖ Many small mushrooms, which, as a rule, are also inedible, are similar to mycena cone-loving. Alkaline Mycena is distinguished, first of all, by a strong characteristic smell. In addition, mycena is easy to identify, even without knowing about the smell, by the specific shade of the plates and the brittle thin stem. The fungus also gives a characteristic place of growth. True, the name of the fungus can mislead many mushroom pickers and mycena can be mistaken for another mushroom – a rare mycene, but the latter appears at a much later time and is found not on spruce cones, but on rotting wood.

ការឆ្លងរាលដាល: Found exclusively on spruce cones. Grows from the beginning of May. It is common, and everywhere prefer coniferous litter and spruce cones. For the growth of mycena, the cone-loving one does not always have to be in sight, it can also hide in the ground. In this case, the mushrooms have a wary appearance and look squat.
